I just realized i missed week 3. I'm sorry! I wasn't at work that day so it slipped my mind. If I ever forget, someone feel free to start the thread please!
I'm not seeing the private folder for us yet, so for now we are still doing our vague weigh in. Hang in there!
Change in weight since last weigh in: Change in weight since week one:
I have not been good as far as working on this. But I am down (only .5) since first weigh in and I will count that as good since we just had Thanksgiving. I need to get on it though. Everybody in my house has been sick, then better and then sick again and it is just SO hard to try and make exercise and eating right a priority. It's been hard. But, I need to do it.
Next year I turn 30 on 10-10-10. That is my goal for my ultimate goal weight - which is about 20 pounds lighter than what I am right now. Maybe 15, will have to wait and see.
I want to be pretty close in July though because we will be going on vacation (i.e. in a bathing suit most of the time) and I want to feel great!
I cannot shake this weight. I know what I need to do, but I seem to not be able to find the time or energy to fit it in. My options for working out are 5am of 9pm and that is when I am dead tired.
I have not gained or lost. I am hovering around the same weight.
My Dr. told me 20 min/ 3 X day to where I sweat and have to change my clothes. 20 min seems reasonable and yet I cannot do it.
It is frustrating as all hell to hold onto this weight and I hate it.
After my stomach issue on the weekend (terrible pain at the top of my stomach after eating really fatty food) I decided to cut super fatty food out to see if that helps (probably the right thing to do anyway).
I remembered about last week, but not until Friday, and to be perfectly honest, I didn't want to weigh in after Thanksgiving, lmao!!!
Anyhoo-I did weigh myself this morning, and I had a GI appt. It was very interesting to me because I am always flabbergasted by the difference in their scale versus mine. So I weighed myself like I generally do-first thing in the morning and naked, then with my clothes and shoes on, like I would be at the GI-there was a 4 pound difference!!!!! So then when I got weighed at the GI, there wasn't a difference anymore-I guess my clothes and shoes weigh more than I thought-fat girl says too much denim weighs me down!
Ok, so down to business...
Change since last weigh in (2 weeks ago)-1.2 pounds, not much Change since week one-2.2 pounds
Granted, I have not been trying-with the girls sick, I am not getting my exercise in, plus there was t-day, but I need to step it up. Hopefully we will get everyone healthy here and I can get back into a groove with the workouts. And I am working on automating my meals so that I eat healthyfully, but I just bought a piece of cake at the store on Monday, which was not a great idea.

ITTTTTTTU. The sickies are just killers, aren't they? I am going on maybe 9 hours of sleep-in the past two days, and I just DO NOT have the energy to get on the treadmill right now. It is SO hard.
You can DEFINITELY meet your goals for your 30th!!! (and how cool!!!) Man, you are a youngen...

Melissa, Bill is in the same boat. He really can't do it in the morning, and it is 9pm before he has time in the evenings. He does get up now and do 10 down (10 push ups, 10 sit ups, 10 jumping jacks, then the same series in 9, 8, 7, etc), but that is all he can manage. But I have to tell you, just that little bit-it MAYBE takes him 10 minutes-makes a difference. He FEELS so much better, and I have actually seen a change in him physically. granted he is a man, so change will likely come easier to him, but the point is, you can make an impact in a short amount of time. And from what I have heard, while 20 continuous minutes is ideal, you could do 10 here and 10 there and get the same benefits. Do you think that could work for you?
I count my blessings that I have the time to exercise-I just need to get off my butt and DO it. But you are in a different situation. It is just so tough, especially this time of year when you can't get outside much.

Are you feeling any better? Do you think cutting out the fatty foods has helped?
I didn't work out wed-monday since we were on vacation, but I started back yesterday.
I feel totally stuck no matter how much I work out and watch what I eat!
I am going for a physical next week, and I'm going to ask her to check my thyroid levels. It's probably fine though. I just think I should be able to loose something when I work out everyday!!

I'm not sure. Both night's I had a sausage pasta (sausage instead of ground beef) and I was dying.
I haven't eaten much meat in the last two days. I'm having steak tonight so we'll see.
I can't live without sausage so lets hope it was a fluke.
I'm back to my starting weight from a few weeks back, but I earned that 1.5 pounds over thanksgiving and am greatful it was only 1.5. (Because what normal family orders a huge amount of take out chinese the day after gorging yourself on turkey day. Oh, that's right. Mine).
Back to the beginnining :)
