so on afullcup, i saw some girls put together baskets using items they score supa cheap for xmas gifts.
i toooootally want to do this for teacher gifts this year. i figure a big basket full of stuff and a small gift card and i should be set!
(between jake's class and emily's class, i need to buy 6 or so gifts. ugh)
i'm going to use the michael's & ac moore 40% and 50% off Qs to get some baskets cheap and then get some of that basket plastic stuff to wrap them. (hoping to spend under $5 per basket.)
so far, i've bought lip care, toblerone and glad candles. i'm going to put homemade cookies and chickie's pretzel wreaths in individual bags tied with ribbon in the basket too.
i'll keep adding to them as i find new deals.

another thing i have been doing is saving all of the $5 off any purchase q's that hallmark came out with...have you seen them? they are inserted in a bunch of magazines and they were also sent to your home if you have a hallmark card. anyways, since there is no minimum purchase i am planning to go in as many time as i have q's and get a small little something close to $5 each time.

So girls on the hallmark coupon you can use more then one? I used one the other day and they scanned my crown card as well. I was just curious because I just found another in my Woman's Day (Thanks for the heads up Corey!) and it says limit one per customer... is that per visit you suppose?
Oh and i'm so mad that I threw away my Martha Stewart! I'm not a huge fan of the mag but it was free so it's been coming and I didn't even look before I tossed it :( Oops.
personally, i would search out a magazine that has the coupons in them before i would use an online pdf, but that is just me...i dunno--it just doesn't feel very on the "up and up" to me when people on slickdeals make pdf's from emails that only select customers were supposed to receive. that is just me though--not trying to influence anyone here.
