Need a "large"gift idea for Kate!!

So Anna wants a bike for Christmas (she never got into the pedal less bike we got her, and Kate wants nothing to do with it either because she is afraid she will fall-rightly so, probably, lol), so we are going to get her a 16" princess bike as her big ticket item.

Kate will then get Anna's trike, which she loves riding, so it's all good.

BUT, we have no big item for Kate.  We just plain have more for Anna this year!  She wants everything under the sun, but I am wondering what to get her as her main big thing, kwim?

The bike will be about $50-60, if that gives you a price comparison, but I think probably size means more to a 3 year old than price, lmao.

Any thoughts?

Oh, and she is way into all things princess and pink, loves tinkerbell, strawberry shortcake, my little pony, everything basically.  And she wants a big stuffed dog, but I got her one for $5 at TRU already.

Thank you ladies!!  This will complete my shopping for them!!!

hmm, i'm sure youre in my same boat and have just about every girl-type toy under the sun - but i've personally been drooling over the PBK dolls, dollbeds, cradles, highchairs, etc.  SUCH cute stuff.
or maybe the rose petal cottage? (corey?? lmao).
how about a princess tent?

I'll show her the PBK catalog and see what she thinks!!

The rose petal cottage is too big, lol.  We need something that can be stored fairly easily because we are short on space here!!!  A tent would be fine if it can be broken down though.

Thanks Kelly!!

does Kate have a dollhouse ;) that is going to be Ivy's "big" gift this year. I am also thinking of a princess castle.  Ivy also loves the Calico Critter family stuff....and they have the cutest dollhouses .  I got those for her right around her 3rd b day and she played for hours with those.

i completely know what you mean. we have a good amount of space upstairs, but i cant stand having big stuff.  we have a tent that is collapsable and they use it here and there, but not a ton. usually if i am going to put it up, they'll play wiht it for like 3 days straight and then i take it down for a few months.
maybe an instrument? a guitar (land of nod has one).
do you guys have an easel?

What about some playmobil?

We got Charlie the horse stables for his 3rd birthday and he loved it as did all of his friends.

Maybe something like the farm:

or the zoo

or the fairy princess stuff.

I'm still deciding if Josie is going to get the victorian doll house this year. I've been lugging it around in a box for the past 15 years.

Thanks for all of these ideas, everyone!!!

Corey, she does have a twin bed, so the bed tent could be fun (if she ever actually sleeps again, lol), and that plasma car is cool-I have never heard of them!!!

Liz-she does have a small dollhouse, but she loves this castle that she saw in the target ad-for those little polly pocket sized princesses-but it hasn't gotten rave reviews. But maybe something else that size would be good-they LOVE those little princess dolls and play with them daily.

Kelly-we do have an easel AND they have a guitar as well!!! LOL-we are a well stocked house, aren't we???

Sonya, I LOVE the playmobil things and it irks me so much that they don't carry more of them in the store. I am definitely going to look around on their site-she loves that kind of thing.

YAY!!! Now I have some good ideas!!!! Thank you ladies!!!!

Supa - do you have a private owned toy store near you? Most of the time you can find playmobile stuff at them. The stuff is great, but the chain toy stores usually do not carry them or much of them.

We do have a couple of smaller places that I never go to-maybe I will try them out and see what they have.  Thanks for the tip!!!
