I'm going through my menu plan based on the sale ads for Kroger for next week, and trying out some new things... Pimentos are needed for one of the recipes, and I'm just wondering what to expect, lol. I don't like surprises or switching from what I know, so it'll be a bit of an adventure for me.

How are you buying them? I mean you have had them in green olives, right?

I have never just had them in the raw form and only in the pickled kind. Is that even the right term?

They are jarred, going on a souped up version of a grilled cheese. I mean, obviously I could leave them out (because not buying them at all is cheaper than buying them on sale) but I'm trying to push myself to be a better example for Hannah (argh.)

(and I've never had an olive, stuffed or otherwise, in my life, lmao. Told you I'm a chicken!)

Shut Up! You have never had an olive, wow. I love them.

I say try it. It is not that strong of a taste. I would buy Hannah some olives to expose her to them, lol.

I've bought them for a Turkey Tetrizini recipe that my mil makes with left over turkey.

And I love them in green olives. love. little balls of salty wonderfulness.

They are not particularly flavorful. Kind of in the pickle family i'd say.
