dan has been getting in to making home made bread. we don't even buy bread anymore because he uses the bread machine to make to dough and then bakes it in the oven.

this morning he set it up so the bread machine would bake it - and timed it so i would wake up to warm, freshly baked bread.

i think i got pretty lucky in the husband department. remind me of that next time i'm complaining about something silly.

Morning!

I hope all the people who were feeling blah yesterday are feeling better!

Sara - That sounds wonderful to have homemade bread when you first wake up in the morning. Yum.

Good morning girls!

I feel like a totally different person than yesterday. No fever, stomach not sick. Much much better.

I'm home with Charlie (he can't go back until 24 hours symptom free) so he'll be back tomorrow. I should have kept Jo home to entertain him. That was dumb of me.

Glen's grandmother asked me to bring the rolls for Thanksgiving dinner.

I was trying to decide if I wanted to take my bread machine there or just go ahead and make the rolls (completely) here, then rewarm them there.

My mom gave me a ham to take also, so I'll need to take a cooler for that. I HATE cold ham but there won't be room or time for me to warm it when we're at Grandmama's.

At least my kids will eat it cold.

I was wanting to take mashed potatoes or mac & cheese too.

Maybe I'll just take a box of mac&cheese. Easy enough.

Since we're spending the night Wednesday, I need to go ahead and get packed.

Robin, do you have a crock pot?

You could do the ham in there and then it would be warm and wouldn't take up oven space.

That was what I was going to suggest. I am not sure how long the ride is, but even having it in a foil pan and covered will keep it warm for a period of time.

Sonya- Glad to hear everyone is on the mend. I think Mia is getting better also and I just feel crappy still, but trucking along.

I cannot wait for 4:00 today. Then I am off for 5 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I take on too much at the holiday season.

I have a family to shop for that my work adopts and then church family and then I am doing a womens shelter party on the 4th and have to buy for that. Then all my other things. I just feel like I have zero time or money these days. It is all for a good cause.

Allie's Thanksgiving Assembly is today. I get to go see that at 10 and it should lift my spirits.

that's amazing, Jen.

will she have to tell you when she is going to go? can she go to the bathroom by herself? is she walking with her walker or is she mostly in the chair? I feel behind and that I should know this stuff.

she's made such amazing progress!

I have been sleeping on the floor for three days, my effing body is killing me. why you may ask am I not just sleeping on the couch like I did for the last 2 years?? Because I just got Lucas to sleep in a bed and he is actually sleeping on his crib mattress on my bedroom floor and calls it his big boy bed, I don't want to go backwards by going back to the couch. I should have a mattress for myself tonight, my neighbor across the street saw 5 take the bed on Sunday and when I was outside last night came across the street and told me he had one if I wanted it. YAY for awesome neighbors.

YAY Presley!!!!! I feel so blessed to "know" her and see all the progress she has made in the last FIVE years. Can you believe that's how long most of us have "known" each other now. WOW.

I do not want to be at work at all this week, I want to be home gutting my house and selling all the stuff I don't need.
