Just one. Figured the more eyes the better Hannah isn't crazed thankfully but I know she would love it, and I was hoping to find one for her stocking. Any of them will do, I really appreciate the help! I know they are pretty much sold out everywhere but I know stores are getting them it's just a matter of being there at the right time. Thanks for looking if you have time
I know! I also posted on a couple other boards I frequent one for Littlest Pet Shops and another hobby board, i'm networking Michelle, i'm hoping to find you one too ;)

If you see any accessories (as long as it's not the expensive one) she's looking for that, too (except the fun house). Thank you

They are cute little life like hamsters Juni. They roll around and make noise, they are supposedly the it toy this Christmas, and I guess I believe that since they are sold out everywhere and selling on ebay for ridonkulous amounts of money. I'm not going to go crazy, I just think Han would like one and if I find one great but if not it's ok. I really appreciate you looking. :)

i was at toysrus when the last one sold the other day - this woman (with no kids) was buying them to sell on ebay.

My sister stocks toys at walmart and she said they can't keep them in stock. A lady called her store from Indiana(my sister works 30 miles south of Lexington, KY) and if she had the one she was looking for she was going to come and get it. Crazy. She also said there is a guy that comes in and gets whatever they have to sell on ebay and hits all the walmarts in the area. My niece got some for her bday in August and I had no idea it was this popular.
I don't like to see that, Alicia...I am all for selling things on ebay, but to buy up the way they do, then charge the money they do, not right. Sarah got one this summer. She was BUGGING us for a hamster, and that that was our compromise. She is 10 1/2, and has very little on her list this year because she is at an awkward stage. That's the only real thing on her list, and I can't even find any. Boooo....

That really stinks :( So the way things go though. Are you going out on Friday Michelle? I have a girl in Washington who has seen them some looking out this weekend too, don't know if she will have any luck but hey it's worth a shot.
I feel like they do this on purpose. They make one toy every year hard to find. I mean if you know it is going to be popular then ramp up production for the holiday?
Then right after Christmas you can get them everywhere.
The news here was covering them the other night. The only place around here that is even getting them in is Walmart. They said they only get about 5-6 per shipment. That seems so strange. They said they barely hit the shelves and they are gone. So, I do think that people buy them up to just sell them.
I am glad Allie has no clue what they are. She did see a commercial and wanted it, but forgot. Maybe for her birthday.
These were hard to get this summer as well. My inlaws took Sarah to 3 stores and couldn't find any (2 walmarts and toys r us). They asked at Walmart, and I am told Sarah was so polite, that the stock person kept one in the back waiting for my father in law to return. This was in July. Even then, they were hard to come by. Not impossible, but they were moving quickly.

I agree Melissa. The strange thing is, yes the zhu zhu peeps make money off the sales but they are not getting any kick back from the ones that are selling for 80 bucks on ebay so why not make more? They would make a LOT more money it seems. I guess I just don't get it, how does it benefit them during the biggest shopping season of the year to not make enough to meet demand so they make big bucks on them? I'm so glad Hannah isn't dying for one, if we get one great it will be fun but if not there's always Valentines day and Easter and her birthday and... LOL!

Not sure yet. I'm hearing that toys r us is giving tickets to people who want zhu zhu pets...
