how picky about clothes?

i have to say, R isnt too too bad. she does want EVERYTHING pink, but lately she's willing to bend a bit (like, it's ok if just her tights are pink - as long as there's SOME pink).
she definitely always wants an animal on her shirt still though.  it's easy to find shirts wiht animal graphics on them, so it's not a huge deal.  she'll also only wear sweats/yoga pants (no jeans or regular pants) and will wear any skirt/tights combo which is good.

she wont wear dresses - hates them. (i'm looking for her christmas outfit online now and it's not easy!! she wants pink...i think i found something...should look cute, but not very christmasy!!)

i know a lot of moms of girls in her preschool are having a hard time lately getting their girls dressed...how are you guys doing?

well, grace is certainly far from the kindergarten years, but she has been extremely picky since 18 months and it is getting worse by the day. people think i am exaggerating that she has been picky for so long, but i distinctly remember her making me hold her up in front of the mirror so she could check how i did her hair long before she turned two. lol.

a good example from sunday--i put her in butterfly leggings, a purple dress, pink boots, and did a half pony tail.

she took one look and said "i don't like these boots, i don't like these pants, i don't like my dress, and i don't like my hair. gracie is NOT beautiful today!" followed by hysterical crying. hmm

My problem isn't with a preschooler. It's with a 2 year old.

SHOOT ME. She's too young for me to deal with this now.

Must have some pink, won't wear my favorite brown shirt, will wear brown polka dot pants if with pink shirt. Some days must have fooler shirt (see below). won't wear anything with tight cuffs, won't wear pjs with feet.

Charlie's pretty good. He'll basically wear what I put out for him. The latest daycare trend (which we accidently started) is "fooler" shirts. A long sleeve tshirt with a short sleeve one over top. That is the only thing he cares about - is there a fooler shirt in his outfit. will wear anything with her spiderman shirt.

I must say, I did think when Rachel wouldn't wear anything but her brown shoes (? right? it was brown shoes?), well, just make her do it! lmao. yeah. you can laugh at me now.

Oh my god, it''s Josie!

I'm only laughing because we've had very similar conversations. I'm hoping we're just getting it over with before they are teenagers.

Raven doesn't care. She would live in only underwear if she could.

I am lmao about Grace and Josie-those two are too much!!!!

Anna isn't bad-she is opinionated and likes to pick her own clothes, but she will wear pretty much anything. She likes her hair certain ways as well, but again, she is pretty easy.

Kate is more challenging, but she has eased up some since last year. Once she gets an idea in her mind about what she wants to wear, she doesn't bend much, but she is fine with what she has, kwim? She isn't begging for outfits we don't have. And she will ok a different choice if I tell her she won't match with the choice she made, but that is also because Anna is VERY into matching.

They like to be involved, but really aren't too bad. They are pickier about shoes than clothes, I think.
