Good morning!

Which way do you stand in the shower? Facing the water or away from the water?

By Sunday I'll have 7 houseguests.

4 arrive today.

I'm not ready.

So you'll probably see me on here a lot today avoiding the work that needs to be done.

I just changed Koda from one set of Pjs to another to reinforce for Travis that he can't bring him out today.  101.8 fever and rising.  Tylenol in, popsicle in hand, hopefully it will level out.  No fever for Tristen, tg.

ps- is my husband the only to think "lets go to the park to get out the energy"  on the same say I keep a child home from school?  Seriously?  He is hopeless.  And a jerk to other parents trying to keep their kids healthy.

So, yeah.  Everyone got put back into clean pajamas.

Morning

I start out with the water to my back as I lather up. Then I turn. I love a hot and steamy shower.

I am slowly getting my christmas shopping done. I think I am buying too much for Allie. I never know what a good amount of gifts are. How do you decide?

can I just say my beautiful daughter has almost turned into a terror?

She's at the corner of Precious Street and Terror Avenue and I'm thinking she's going to make a wrong turn!!!

Last night Jake was sitting nicely building something with blocks.  She got a big monster truck from his room, walked up behind him and started beating him on the head with it over and over.  He was wailing.  She started beating harder.

At daycare the other day they said she will not listen!

I always spend too much.  I just don't know when to stop.

I bought little john an iPod touch - well, technically I used credit card points for it so it was no out of pocket $$ but still, that gift alone is valued at $188!  So do I calculate that $188 towards his total?

I know it is awful, but I laughed reading that. Maybe she is making up for the times the boys tormented her? I hope her mean streak is a phase.  Maybe buy Jake a hard helmet for Christmas, lol.

I am not looking forward to Christmas when the gifts get so expensive. How do you decide how much to get then? I mean there is less, but the cost is more. I love this age still. You can get so much and not break the bank.

Truth be told. Allie needs ZERO more of anything.

That is so me. I totally wait to the last min to get stuff done.

Who do you have visiting? How long are your guests staying? Wait, duh - forgot it was Thanksgiving next week. I assume it is for that?

I wouldn't count it.  We have a budget of 300 for each child and don't go over it.  That's the reason I'm done with Raven(even though I want to get her more) because I have reached 300.  Stephen will get 300 in cash.

I hate water on my face but I like to face it with the shower head pointed down. I hate getting in after Ray has used it and I forget to move the head and it hits me in the face.

I would totally count it. That's an expensive gift!

I am totally controlling myself this year. I learned my lesson last year when Gavin opened the one thing he asked for in his stocking (a certain transformer toy) and didn't care about the rest. And the rest was a LOT. And there was a bunch of toys he never even touched. Ridiculous.

This year I am not doing that.

maybe I should just get him a full body suit of armor.  This morning she was smacking his back and if he whines or cries she just does it harder.

and yes, she probably is getting back at him for repeatedly taking her nose while we're in the truck!

I face both ways. I face towards it when I am first in and also when I'm washing my face. The rest of the time away. I don't mind water in my face though so I'm sure I just switch back and forth. I prefer baths to showers anyway.
