Christmas for 6,8,16 yr old

I have taken on a family for the holidays.  Insane since I should be budgeting for my own, but here is the back story.  I have a student who sends home money so her family can buy groceries.  I know she is going to take on the holidays for them and I also know she just doesn't have it.

6 year old is a science-geek
8 year old loves sports
16 year old- just getting him clothes from Old Navy

Any sweet deals you see that the 6-8 year olds would love, give me a shout out.  I can't buy them a DS or anything, but I think I can at least do decently... I think.

I know they have some kind of mythbusters set for kids - that might be cool for the one into science. I'll think some more on the others. Honestly, I'd go the gift card route with the 16 year old but you can always gets better deals than teenagers so I don't always do GC's.

Performance fleece jackets are only $5  on black friday, and then I think Arizona jeans are $7 at JC Penney.  I think BF deals will go further than gift cards (and I'll attach gift receipts)
