i think the big issue is that in the beginning most of us had 1 kid and the $$ amount was $25 so it wasn't that big of a deal, but now people have 2-3 kids.

i know before i mentioned this and someone said that people with 2 kids should be paired with people with 2 kids, etc...so that the $$ spent would be fair. i don't know about everyone else, but i totally can't spend $50+ plus shipping on a swap gift because i have two kids so i need to buy for 2 kids.

maybe if we start doing them again, people with multiple kids can get a joint gift to share and still keep the $ around $25 instead of asking people to spend that much per child??

like if i bought for april, instead of getting a $25 gift for em and a $25 gift for jake, i'd either spend $12ish each or get one big thing for them to share for $25...does what i am asking many any sense at all?? biggrin

If total could be kept to $25 before shipping, I could totally do this. I won't be telling Travis, but I would be game!

Corey - ITA. I think $25 before shipping TOTAL is fine. I don't think it's feasible to do $25 per child. I also think it's just fun to shop for others and send a fun gift. There are plenty of good deals out there to be able to put a little something in for each kiddo if necessary.

Do you guys want to try and pair it up to even amount of kids or just do it however since we are doing $25 total anyway?

I would be interested, especially if we kept it at $25 total regardless of how many kids. I feel bad saying that since I only have one. :bag: I honestly am fine with buying for one or buying for a few kiddos, just as long as everyone is clear and in agreement.

I'm totally interested, also in my case, Bryson is really too little for a swap, I mean he likes toys, but I would really do it for Hannah. Not sure if that is the case for others but I just thought I would throw that out there for those of us who have more then one and might feel the same about their youngers :)

maybe when we sign up we can list which kid/kids we are signing up for...that way whoever gets you can just concentrate on hannah, where as someone like me with kids so close together would need someone willing to buy a shared prezzie.

when grace started noticing connor was getting something and she wasn't was when i stopped doing swaps. biggrin

Jenn - I was thinking about this on my way home. ITA. I wanted to be able to send out partners BEFORE black Friday. Deadline for signups should be when then? I only need a night to figure it all out and send out assignments. What do you guys think?

Roxana I think it would be fine as long as they are ok with a joint gift or something small.

Roxana - I would sign up and just make sure you list some things that maybe they would all like, or some ideas. I think it's more than okay!
