What are you waiting for this year?

What did your kids love last year?

I'm excited to watch it's a wonderful life with my boys.

I think Jack watched part of it last year but this year I think he'll really get into it.

I love all of the specials!

I'm such a sucker for Christmas shows.

I think it's about time to pull our Emmet Otter's Jug Band Christmas too.

I love Its a wonderful life. mike and I watch it every year. It wouldnt' be Christmas without it.

I'm recording Madascar penguins for Charlie tomorrow night. He'll like that.

He wants to see The Grinch this year - he remembers listening to it on the radio last year.

He loved Stephen Coberts Christmas special (lmao) so we're hoping for a repeat this year.

Oh and I just remembered, A Christmas Story.

I think the boys will totally be into that too.

eek, I'm getting excited now.

I forget, who are the Christmas Story haters out there?

Sonya will you show Charlie the Grinch cartoon or movie?

I am so excited this year for Christmas. I love every and any Christmas show. I think Allie is still to young to get most of the good classics, but we have them on anyway. Usually we play Christmas music when putting up the tree or have a Wonderful Life on the TV.

I am getting very sentimental in my old age ;0)

My favorite of all time is t'was the night before christmas with the little mice.  LOVE it.  Travis finally bought it for me two years ago because he was tired of me hunting for it on the TV every year.

The boys love Polar Express, and the Grinch (both versions).  They like Rudolph on and off.

Travis really likes Charlie Brown's Christmas.

We have a ton on DVD thankfully (and they are SO much shorter without the dang commercials).

If my students wouldn't totally laugh me off campus, I would put up my tree now.  I'm so excited this year :)

My mom has tickets to the movie for us. Should be interesting. Or terrifying for him.

Some favorites each year are polar express, the grinch, rudolph, frosty.

The older boys caught a part of Home Alone a few months back so John is wanting to watch that with them.

I am sure there are many more.

Madagascar Very Merry Christmas is on tomorrow night I believe at 7 pm CST here.

I love Christmas shows!

I can't wait for National Lampoon's Christmas show.  I'll always love that one, lol

And of course Rudolph and Frosty are at the top of my list.  I had to buy Rudolph for the girls last year after it came on.  They watch it year round, lol

I can't wait to watch Shrek the Halls. My kids still sing songs from that all year ("Waffle Santa!")

I'm taping the Madagascar special, but we won't be watching it for a few weeks.

we LOVE A Christmas Story. Nearly every time we go out, someone makes an "it's smiling at me" joke.

I'm SO excited for Christmas this year!!

We have a lot of "classics" on DVD--Rudolph, Frosty, Charlie Brown. Grinch (cartoon) scared him last year but we'll try again. We DVR'd Madagascar and watched tonight. I'm sure we'll watch a bunch more. EJ wants to watch a Christmas Carol too. I think we are going to borrow the Mickey Mouse version from the library.

I love Miracle on 34th Street, Christmas Vacation, Christmas Story, but I think those are too advanced for Ethan at this point.

I want to buy EJ Scrooged. And would you believe we've never seen A Wonderful Life? We've rented and recorded it a bunch of times but never watch.

Oh, and I consider Love Actually a Christmas movie as well. I adore that.

I haven't seen most of the older classics. Shameful, I know.

Our favorites are Elf (I could watch it everyday and still lmao), Christmas Vacation, The Grinch (both), and Scrooged. And I still love all the cartoons - Frosty, Rudolph, etc.

Hannah adores Olive the Other Reindeer, and Mickey's Twice Upon a Christmas. And we've been watching a My Little Pony christmas movie for a few weeks, that she has no intention of dropping anytime soon.
