Several of us were talking about doing a MSBL-ish program. Less about money, less about competition, more about accountability.
Since we aren't doing the private set-up I'm wondering what people think about this format for a weigh in.
Weach week, in this folder, we do Weigh in Wedesday. Tomorrow would simply be an "i'm in" since it is week one.
Next week you would report any difference. I might post
WEEK 2: -1 Total loss = -1
Week 3: -4 (hey, I can dream) Total loss = -5
And so on. This would keep peoples actual weights private. There is no need for photos since no money is changing hands. The only person you cheat if you choose to cheat is yourself.
THoughts? Just brainstorming, not married to it :)
Also, we will track for 12 weeks. Maybe state a goal for those 12 weeks (might not even be completely about weight... maybe you want to be able to run a mile by the end).
I am so up for this a few months after I deliver! I actually can.not.wait.
I'll have to post pics though (in cocktail of course). That alone made me put down that second donut (the first is why I failed the last 2 rounds LOL).
I'm in. I think we should shoot for a private chat of some sort but I can't afford to pay for anything right now so if it costs money I can't do it.
I need to be able to put my starting weight and subsequent weight. I will never be able to keep track of it otherwise and I think I will feel more accountable. I would be up for posting pics too (just the scale - no paper) but just for my own accountability. I'm in though.
oooh....I am in!! i currently at my highest weight EVER and it has got to stop. I thought about joing WW at the first of the year (no extra money for that now) but this idea is great :)
(as a side note and related to my previous posts about self-esteem, ad nauseum-- but i have been *trying* to make an effort at putting on make up and dressing in something other than sweats, ie jeans and I really feel a difference. It is almost like I can see a semblance of my former self and it has motivated me.
i'm in! hopefully this will give me a little more motivation (as i sit here in front of the computer thinking about how i really don't feel like going to the gym, lmao).
Would everyone like to take their baseline weight (photos if that is your thing) today and post when the private folder goes live, or would you rather wait until the folder is up and start next week?
I sort of feel like I always say next week, so I'm leaning to take a baseline and post your photos (optional, if that is your motivation) once we get the folder...
What do you think, should we make pictures/ actual weights optional? I would not want anyone scared off by having to post something they aren't comfortable with. I completely am going to post but I don't want to exclude anyone.

The only REQUIREMENT is that you weigh in each Wednesday, and minimally post your change in weight that week, and your overall weight change in the challenge. That was what I was thinking at least.
