I knew Mikey & Marcos should be best friends heart.gif

Do any girls like this movie? Allie has never seen any of them, but maybe I should get it.

Lucas still has the stuffed Buzz you sent him heart.gif

He recites almost the entire dialogue to both movies.  My sister and I took him and Jayden to their first movie and it was the 3d double feature of Toy Story and now Jayden is obsessed too.  Lucas sleeps with either Buzz or Woody every night adn I cannot wait to get him new Toy Story stuff for Christmas since most of his Travis's hand me downs (who was also ridiculously obsessed)

I don't think it's necessarily a boy movie. It's about friendship, and in the 2nd one there is a girl cowboy (but it's a little sad)

Hannah loves Toy Story.

She's really easily upset by movies, so we've never seen the second because like ll mentioned I've heard it's a little sad.

Woody gets stolen, is going ot be sold to a museum, meets other members of "the round up gang" One of which is a girl cowboy who's owner grew up and dropped her off at goodwill which we get to see while said girl doll is singing a very sad song.  Me and Nikki cry almost everytime :(

Oh lordy.

Yeah, we'll be passing on that.

Hannah bawls at a lot of movies. In fact, everytime she insists on watch the Fox & the Hound, I take an excedrin because she goes crazy tears when the granny has to give the fox away. Like, full on ugly cry. It's precious, lol. She's uber sensitive about Disney movies. Finally this weekend she just wanted to watch F&tH 2, and I was thrilled because that would mean no crying, and instead I cried, because Patrick Swayze was the lead. lmao.

Who makes these stories up for kids :( I do not even want to see that. It would destroy Allison.

But in the end it all works out!!  I love both Toy story 1 and 2.  M2 and I went to see it in 3d a couple of weeks ago.  He loves both of them too.  At one point he wanted to be Buzz lightyear for Halloween.  Now everytime we go to target, he runs straight for the buzz lightyear's in the toy aisle!

It does have the typical amazingly happy ending though, but that part is tough especially because the whole point is about how kids grow up and don't need their toys anymore :bawl :cry

Toy story brings back a good memory for me. When Andrew was around 5, the first one was released for the first time at the theater. my mom and I took him to see it and we all loved it! It was such a good movie. so, yes, he was "toy story" obsessed 15 years ago :)

Ivy has seen the movies on dvd. She really loved them too, but she lost interest in them a while back and I didn't think she would sit through the movie at the theater.

I think both are great movies.  Even with the little sadness in the end it shows up that friendship is one of the best thing in the world and that there is always hope for a great second chance.

I'm so happy that Marcos loves TS.  I had no idea what to get him for Christmas and now i do have many options.  I'll try to get him the pj and some toys but the one thing he does want is the TS bike.

I cannot wait for the thrid one!!!

Raven loves toy story. Stephen was into it when it first came out and we still have his VHS tapes and some of the toys. I keep kicking myself for getting rid of so many of his toys that Raven would have loved. Of course I had no idea if we were having more kids and then to have a girl into everything "boy".

She is getting the toy story play set for christmas and the big buzz and woody when I find them for a decent price. We have a woody but the pull string doesn't work and the buzz is a soft one.

Sarah likes the 2nd one more.

There are Barbies and the cowgirl.

The first one has the whole Sid's house part which is long and boring for her.

Oh, sometimes I skip the first 5 minutes or so of TS2 because it's like a buzz lightyear cartoon/video game and that bores her.

She's seen it about 5 times but doesn't really ask for it.

I just put it on when I'm sick of barbies and princesses.

To answer the first question.

Jack was sooooooooooooooooo into Toy Story.

I always tell him that he probably watched it about 500 times when he was little.

Seriously when I had morning sickness with Ryan and I was on the couch for 10 weeks feeling like hell, Jack watched it over and over and over and over......

Lucas has loved Buzz and Woody since we rented the movies from Netflix a while back. Jo and her boys sent him Toy Story for his 3rd Birthday and I can't even count the number of times he has watched it. I even bought him some old happy meal toys off of ebay because he wanted them so bad (they didn't have tons of toy story toys out at the time)

This summer he got to meet Buzz at Disney world and see Woody in a Parade and the kid was over the moon. I took him to see the 3D double feature when it was out and the kid was in HEAVEN! He was reciting Toy Story word for word as it went along.

I already have a Buzz and Woody tucked away as christmas presents.

I am pretty sure we'll be doing a Toy Story themed party for his birthday since TS3 comes out the month before.
