anyone belong to the Y? and mole update

i'm joining the Y tomorrow. i'm so excited.
it's so affordable and they have child care for $3 an hour (beautiful clean playroom with two sitters in there...) - and SO many children's programs for either free or VERY low prices (everything you could imagine - ballet, karate, tae kwon do, art, yoga, music, swimming, gymnastics - everything).
they also have $6 an hour childcare you can use if you have to run out (like, out of the Y) to do errands/haircut/etc for up to two hours.
i think if C gets used to it, she'll be fine with it, and i know R would run right in and not look back.  if C and R are together, i think C would be fine.
they also have a ton of classes for me - i'm of course especially excited for morning yoga - i cant wait for this - i TOTALLY NEED SOME EXERCISE and some ME TIME.
i knew about this all along but didnt think C would be ready for it - now i feel like it's time to try.

and moles - just got my stitches out of my stomach, all is healing fine, my back moles came back TOTALLY fine so i dont need another surgery, and i had another biopsy off my chest today...pray for me that that's ok and i'll be done for the year - PHEW!!!

so glad to hear that your moles are fine!  how is your pain?

I love the Y, but we dropped it because I just never went.  There is a new one opening up nearby that is going to have an outdoor pool (a wave pool w/ slide rec center) and I am going to join then.  We have to drive a long way to get to an outdoor pool now so this will be great and convenient.

my pain is ok - my stomach is still a little twinge-y but it's starting to mellow out. i'm glad the stitches are out. i still have to keep it covered and treated for another week.

the moles i had taken off my back feel fine but sting a little bc they're under my bra strap.

and i just had one done on my top rib, right under my boob, which is going to hurt i'm sure. it's right on the bone - there's no flesh there - right now it's still numb. i'll be in a sports bra for a week or two i'm sure.

i just am so glad to be done with this (fingers crossed - i do still have to hear back about this ribcage one).

Yay, Kelly, for joining the Y!!   I am with you---I REALLY need to start exercising too!  (But I wouldn't want to leave Abram in the nursery yet, you know?!)

(We don't belong to the Y but a sports center nearby.  My Dh takes the girls swimming all the time---it's great!)

I am so sorry about your pain where the moles were removed!! : (    I will say a prayer that everything is okay with this last one too!!

(I should get my moles checked too!!)

I swear sometimes I feel like you are doing the same as me. I was just thinking of signing up. We have a nice one here. I am thinking we will.  I was going to do swim lessons there for Allie.

Glad to hear the moles areas are healing. I have my apt coming up.

yeah i think we're in each others' brain lately.  maybe a natural response to "swine flu vaccine confusion" is "join the Y"
- lol.
