First confirmed H1N1 on campus
Permalink

Lots of "suspected", but first confirmed this past weekend.

As an on campus student with access to the dining commons, classes, shared restrooms, etc who is self-isolating while riding it out....  looks like it is our turn.  Glad our mass vaccination is two weeks away *sarcasm*.  It will likely have nearly run its course by then.

I hate waiting for the other shoe to drop.  If we're going to get really hit, I just want to get it over with at this point.  We've been preparing for it since April.  I'm frankly shocked we've pretty much avoided it until now.

I am shocked to. Most colleges here are being hit.

We have about 18 at our school. I really hope it does not get worse as the week goes on. I hope people keep their sick kids home and do not spread the love.

I think that because you are contageous the day before you show signs, it's inevitable that it's going to spread like crazy.

17 schools here have 10% + sick students. The vacine has just been released here and it is only available for medical professionals and preg women.

It is on our campus, too Jen. Just a matter of time for us I think.
