try to count the number of times in the whole time during your relationship (dating) and marriage.
I was shocked last night to figure out that we have only had sex "approximately" 80 times (and that number is generous) in the 10 years we have been together :shock (now everyone knows why it is so hard for us to get pregnant...lmao)
Bill and I have been together officially for almost 13 years, and we were off and on for about 3 years before that. For the years we have officially been together, I estimated at 2 times per week, knowing there were times it was more like daily, and times when we had dry spells. Not including the 3 off and on years (which was basically just summers and breaks-but we got plent busy during those times), we are roughly 1300. Those other 3 years probably add in another 150 times?
IHNI how accurate it is-we have always been a pretty active couple in that regard, but it gives an idea.
someone once told me that you have more sex your first year of marriage than any other year.
They said a freind of theirs put a jellybean in a jar every time and then the second year took one out every time to see if they had less. Me and dh altered this and we get a penny every time.
So far year one has been by far the most and he was gone in iraq 4 months LOL.
I have the exact numbers written down but its around 600 or so for our 5 years
I'm sure it's over 500. We've been together for 11 years, and in our dating times and it was everyday, multiple times/day.
Our first few years it was on average 4 times per week at least, sometimes daily. Now, it's been a couple of weeks lately, but he's been gone, I've been tired, etc..but I still think it's over 500
We're pretty much once a weekers. Although if he had his choice daily it would be! We've been together 10 years, but the first two were long distance so it was feast or famine. I guess we're just shy of that 500 mark.
I estimate about 500 times but it could be more or a little under that. You know of at least twice b/c we have two children! LMAO
But the first three years of our relationship were pretty damn crazy and wild with it so it was pretty much every night or every other night excepting times he was away for work.
Its been a bit dry while I was pregnant with Addie and up to now b/c of some sensitive issues but otherwise we've always had a rather active and overly healthy approach to marital relations.
ETA- We've been together 6 1/2 years and married almost 5 1/2. It'll be 7 years together in May '010 and 6 years marriage in June '010. We've been together since May 28, 2003. Never a moment apart since then.

WAY more than 500..... We pretty much had sex every day for 10 years...and then at least three to four times a week after that. And thats even averaging out when I was out of comission after having my kiddos.

Once-a-weekers here too. I estimated once a week for the 15 years we've been married.
3 times a week here, but there were dry spells pregnant and after baby, so I would say 2 times a week average (including the first year which was more than 3 times). So in 7 years that would be 700+.
I think that if people as a couple are both happy not doing it as often as the "average" there is nothing wrong with that.
Never a moment apart since then.
