Would you ride to work with an attractive single man? Why or why not? Would your SO be okay with that? Would you be fine with your SO riding to work with an attractive single woman?
My DH use to carpool with an attractive women he worked with and I was fine with it. If I am going to trust him then ya got to start somewhere. I mean I honestly feel that if your spouse is going to do something bad it will happen regardless of what you do.
I do not think Dh would mind with me either. I mean if I just randomly selected some hot man to drive with then maybe, but if it were a coworker and there was a situation that warranted us driving together then I see nothing wrong with it. Does it really matter if they are attractive or not. I mean do you feel comfortable if it were someone ugly, lol
Of course, anything to make the morning just a bit more tolerable is a go for me ;)
I wouldn't mind with dh. Well, I say that now. I can imagine if I was home all day and without adult contact that I could turn into a raging jealous b*tch. Hmm, I'll have to keep that in mind before I start this whole SAHM thing :)
Oh yes-I totally would. And Bill wouldn't care in the slightest. In fact, he might like it because I might end up taking more pride in my appearance, lol!!
As for him driving in with a hottie-I am sure I wouldn't love it-but I trust him, and ITA with Melissa-I think something bad could happen at anytime and anywhere.
I am sure Bill would try to invite the hottie in though-and see if I had any chemistry with her, lmao.
if this chick is a hussy and is known for trying to get with married men, i might mind. otherwise, no, i probably wouldn't...especially if she is someone we know mutually.
Joe wouldn't care at all if I did. I probably wouldn't though, because we live in a small town, and something as simple as that is how reputations get tarnished.
It would probably drive me mad if Joe did. I trust him 110%, but because I'm not all tiny and smoking hawt, it would drive me crazy, lol.

:D
Ooo, good point. If she were a known maneater type, I would probably tell him to skip the carpool.
But Bill already carpooled with one good looking woman, but it didn't work out. (but she is also one of his best friend's wives) Everyone he has tried to carpool with leaves work too early for him.

Re: red. Let me rephrase that--someone to whom you feel an attraction.
However, wouldn't that be interesting if you could just pick some random hottie off the street to ride in your carpool?
I would, but honestly EJ would probably get jealous and torture me. I like to think I wouldn't mind about EJ either, I mean really I don't think I would care, but I'm feeling pretty crappy about myself lately so who knows?
This whole idea of guys and girls hanging out is interesting to me. Last year when EJ wasn't working, I suggested to my neighbor, who is female and at the time didn't have access to a car during the day, that she should totally get EJ to take her to the children's museum. Both our families have passes, both of them were home with the kids. Who cares? She was like, um, no, people would think we were together. And again, I was like who cares? You're not together. I just don't think that way. And I told a friend of mine the story and she agreed with the neighbor, that it would have been weird.

So who knows? Maybe my perception is warped.
Not warped at all in my book. If so then that means I am warped too.
I am not hung up on the whole male/female thing. I feel I select quality people to be in our lives and if one of these people watned to divide my marriage then I think if my husband selects that route he would regardless.
I totally would go with a neighbor I liked if I did not have a car and wanted to get out with the kids.

Now that I may have a problem with, lol. If Rich just stopped and picked some hot chick up,lol.
I would not mind it though. A gal can dream and look.

I wouldn't do it b/c I know DH's jealous streak. He'd freak and worry that I was going to leave him for the other guy so I might as well nip that freak out in the bud before it gets started.
And yes, I would mind. I would mind a lot. It would drive me insane. Got some trust issues and while DH has done his best to make up for it, it leaves a mark deep down. Case in point- when DH worked for Hobart he was acquainted with many a person- One stalked him relentlessly until he left that job and she no longer had a way to find or contact us. The other stood there at the grocery store while I was 9 months pregnant with Colin and FLIRTED with my husband in front of me and then went on to RAVE about how she gave my husband a sense of humor..that he was too serious before but thanks to her he was playful and fun. It would have been alright if she was joking but she had those damn googly eyes going and was just over the moon to see him beyond what as appropriate. And it didn't help that he ignored me and forgot me during this time. I said, "One would think that my being 9 months pregnant was clue enough that he was playful enough already...WITH ME." And I stormed off. And I locked him out of the car.
Yeah- cheesing off the woman who is 9 months pregnant in the middle of July isn't a smart idea. She transferred stores.
We both have jealous streaks so it isn't a good idea.
