I tried to send you guys a pm but I guess you can only pm one person at a time so I gave up and came here.

Anyway, Chickie for you and D for your friend who loved that last series of books we recommended....the first book of that author's new series is out now. I just started it.

It's Covet by J. R. Ward.

I'm glad you started this!  I've been meaning to pm you about book stuff.

So have you started this one?  Is it as good as her others?

I've been catching up on some of my tv watching and my mom has this Odd Thomas series by Dean Koontz that she's been bugging me to read, but they should be quick reads and then I'll start this new one you're talking about.

I finally finished the Phury book.  It turned out to be really good even though it started out slower than the others.  It's so perfect that Slash (I think that's his name, it's been a couple of weeks) ended up being the Omega's son.  For some reason I was scared it was going to be Butch, so I'm glad it wasn't.

I ordered Revengh's book, but it doesn't come out in paperback until the end of this month, so hopefully it will come before my trip to Texas in November so I have something good to read.  I have a feeling I'm going to like that one.

Oh, I was really suprised about the one guy being gay.  Kind of a nice twist though.

I REALLY need to get a kindle so I can quit buying books.  I will have to ask for one for Christmas.  I'm going to have to get your recommendations first before I tell Tom which one to buy though.  Maybe there will be some good Black Friday ads and I can get one then.

I miss you so much!

I'm on chapter 8 and she's still setting it up but so far so good. Like her other books there are lots of characters so I'm trying to get everyone straight. It's set in the same town and there are cross overs. One of the main characters, who was a hooker at zero sum, just ran into Phury going into his narcotics annon meeting but that'll probably be it, he won't be a character.

I read a Dean Koontz once a long time ago but I really liked it. LMK how the series is.

BTW John Michael's book comes out in May.

I miss you too Chickadee!!!!
