Oh my gosh, seriously, Abram is the SWEETEST baby ever!!!!!!
He is so smiley and happy and laughs all the time. He's such a love!!!
And I have to admit that when all of you and people IRL would say, "Oh, boys really love their mamas," I was like, "Well, that's weird, girls love their mamas too."
I think I get what you meant now. Abram just seems so, I don't know, focused on me (and my girls were very much mama's girls too, but this does seem somewhat different) . Of course, he's 3 months old. I am sure this will change.
So, anyway, I love having a boy!!
I am not on the computer that has all of our recent pictures, but I will have to post some soon. Abram is getting so big---I am thinking he's almost 17 pounds now! He's pretty much exactly 3 and a half months, and he's mostly wearing 6-12 month clothes already.
(In other news, we are having SUCH a tough time with Emilia. She has just been a nightmare (and it's not even completely related to Abram being born...she has been like this for a while). She is constantly fussing, whining, fighting, etc. EVERYthing is a battle with her. She has been so miserable to be around/deal with that I am pretty sure we're stopping at 3 kids. It's been that bad. Ugh. I am praying that she snaps out of this at 3 (since we've had a FULL year of craziness from her.....I feel like we've more than paid our dues!!)---we have about 3 more weeks!! (Really, I am not holding my breath!))
Sorry I am not around much. I try to read and stay caught up, but then someone needs me, and I run out of time to post.
Oh, and thanks for the Sophie the giraffe recommendation----Abram loves it! He's chewing on it right now! : )
So glad to hear from you. I can't say that I'm surprised that you love having a boy ;) but I am glad that you get to experience it. My little guys - even though they are older - are still total mama's boys and just the best. I am so happy you are having such a great experience with him.
I hope that things with Emilia settle down soon!
Oh! You HAVE to post a recent picture of him! I'm dying to see what he looks like now!
Boys are the sweetest and I knew you would find the experience AMAZING! They don't stop absolutely loving and worshiping their mothers. Well, eventually they should a little, but it hasn't ended yet.
I agree that a picture has to be your next post.
I hope the terrible two's fade away. Some kids really like to make mommy go bald with torture.
so glad to "see" you! i agree, there is something about a mom/son bond that is just different than a mom/daughter bond. the way they look at you like you are the queen of the world is just something that can't be matched.
sorry to hear emilia is being a pill. we had a really rough 2-3.5 with connor, but thankfully, it does end eventually! hang in there!!
So glad that sweet little Abram has been such a joy to add to the family! Cannot wait to see some new pictures of him.
Sorry Emilia has been giving you such a time. I usually summarize that by "it's the 2nd child" seriously Owen wears me out on a daily basis and how he gets off with his behavior and why he thinks it is okay is beyond me. It is not like Bryce acts that way or even Keegan for that matter even though he is only 14 months. Sadly, things here go through spurts of good times and then days when he is a complete terror and breaks down and goes into fit mode over anything and everything :sigh
i'm so glad you love having a boy, becky! i can't believe he is already 3 months old. that is in.sane. i'm glad to see you around though. i hope you will be around more now that he is a little older. i hope emilia snaps out of this soon for you. we need you here. we haven't had a good poll in ages ;)
(And I so didn't need to read this, given the baby fever I already have... :) )
sorry to threadjack, but.....
DO IT!!
I agree. The girls need a brother!
Becky, I'm glad that you're loving having a little boy! It is a lot of fun! But for me- he has been and always will be a Daddy's boy. Oh well. Addie-girl is my Mama's girl so we're equal.
I'm sorry Emilia has been difficult. Its been that way with Colin too so I hope it settles down for you soon!
oh my god it happened to you!!! LMAO!!! that's wonderful that abram is such a love, i'm so happy to hear it! i can twait to see more pics - from what i've seen, he's ADORABLE ADORABLE ADORABLE. sorry about emilia - we're having an extremely tough time with cara right now actually and i'm hoping it doesnt last till 3 - i cant manage a whole year. UG.
I miss being around more too! There is not enough time in the day, you know?! Plus both girls have pretty much stopped napping, so there goes that time. I have tried to make them have a rest time in the afternoon, but it's not the same. Emilia keeps getting up, I keep having to go up there, etc.

The bold---right?! haha We'll see how I feel when he's a totally rambunctious, climbing the walls toddler! Although if that means that he's not constantly whining and full of drama, then it might be a nice change around here!!
(And I so didn't need to read this, given the baby fever I already have... :) )
Go for it!!! : )
Seriously, having two kids is nutty. Having three hasn't really been any more nutty. When I am having a really hard day, it's still because of Addie and Emilia. If anything, it's so nice to have a sweet baby to balance out the brattiness of the other two! haha (Gosh, I know that sounds bad, but some days, that's the truth!!!)
