Initially we went for constipation but it became her 2 month WBV.
She weighs in at 13lbs, 10.5oz She measures 24" long exactly.
No idea on head circumference. The nurse never told me that number.
Otherwise a perfectly healthy little girl.
She's not constipated according to the definition of constipation but she does have a lactose/milk sensitivity so she's a soy gal which is okay with me!
Growing good! :) We go back in a week to get her shots. Unprepared they were for shots. :)
Otherwise, we're growing good.
And she slept through the night last night! Grant had a bear of a time getting her to sleep but when she did go to sleep she was out like a light and didn't wake up until 7 this morning! Ahh.
If you need any dairy-free recipes, LMK! A lot of babies who have dairy intolerances also have soy intolerance, so keep an eye out for that. I tried a little bit of soy sauce last week and Evie started spitting up again like crazy!
Also, it's very common for breastfed babies to go several days, even up to a couple of weeks, without pooping. As long as it's not hard and dry when it comes out, it's probably ok. :)

That's what the doctor said! She said that as long as it isn't coming out like Play-Doh then we were fine. Which it wasn't. Wednesday was awful b/c she literally screamed when she had a BM but only for two of them. Her third BM was easy peasy.
I didn't know that about soy. She does amazing on the soy formula. It has really helped her. She was also getting congested- no fever or sneezing. Just congested which WTETFY said was a sign of a milk allergy. A switch to soy formula did wonders and the congestion went away completely!
We tried the gentle formula and that isn't much different than the milk-based. Its a little easier on her but not by much.
So, we're going for soy. And I'm pushing for organic soy formula. So far, so good. And she LOVES it. She's actually less gassy and spits up less on the soy than the milk based.
The doc said that once she gets started on solids, then things will definitely clear up a lot but otherwise she sounds and feels fine.
But she is a big girl! But oddly, the length makes her look more lean! My hubby gives me tall babies! She's going to be tall too. Go fig! Better to be tall and skinny than short and round, I say. :) I'm glad the babies come out like Grant!
I know when we had Keegan tested they said Soy and Milk allergies go hand in hand and when you are allergic to one usually 80% chance you are to the other. That said Keegan has a milk allergy but he is not allergic to Soy.
