Ok..I feel so bad for all of you that deal with reoccurring ear infections! Madi was up all night crying that both her ears were hurting and that she felt like there was something in them. She also had a fever. So she did not go to school today and DH took her to the doctor.
It turns out that she has andinfection in both ears?????????? Poor kiddo! She can't go to school tomorrow either. They gave her antibiotics. This is her first ever ear infection.
Gavin just recently had an ear infection and the only other one he has had we caught before he started to complain about the pain. He was being seen for croup and it turned out an ear infection was there too.
Anyway, it was horrible. He was up screaming in pain all night and all day (we had to wait until a late afternoon appointment) about how bad his ear hurt. It's terrible.
The only time I remember being sick when I was little was with ear infections and I still remember how painful it was so I felt SO bad for Gavin. Poor Madi! Did they give her ear drops? Those worked wonders for Gavin and we have them stashed away JIC.
