Well, praise be! Henry finally has an active social life. 4th grade is going to be fantastic friend-wise. A new friend who just moved in right behind us--our backyards touch--just went home. All three kids had a blast. Henry is completely worn out, lying down and watching TV in his room. Mark has gotten a second wind and is destroying buildings on the Wii game Rampage. Henry's other friend, his "best friend" from second grade, has come over once and Henry has been to his house to play. I'm also planning to invite another little boy from his class to our house after school one day because I've known his mom forever. Yay!!
Now if only his grades and attitude about academics would improve as well.
I am so happy that things are going so well for Henry. It sounds like this is going to be such a great year for him. You never know, with all his friends and social activities, his grades may pick up. Often if kids know their friends do better than they will too. Plus it gives you more leverage to get him to get that homework done!
