My typical breakfast is a peanut granola bar. On a good day, it is a scambled egg, and that is what I aspire to most of the time, but the bars are so easy...
My fave breakfast for a special occasion is Eggs Benedict. YUM.
And on weekends, we usually have pancakes one day-Bill makes those. Though I did make waffles today (completely unheard of, as I am NOT a morning person) and they were pretty good!
This weekend, the weather is looking good here, so Bill is going to finish the retaining wall out front, and hopefully we will get a few other odds and ends done around the house.
Also, we are having a combined b-day party on Sunday, for Bill's mom, Jaime and Bill. Should be fun!!
I usually eat granola cereal with milk in the mornings. My favorite breakfast is eggs benedict too, I like it with smoked salmon. I also love caviar and butter on crispy bread. Oh and I love crepes.
Our breakfast during weekends is pretty much the same, sometimes I will make buttermilk pancakes (from scratch) but that's about it.
This is our last weekend in Manila so we're going to just have fun. Go to the movies, go shopping, go out to eat, etc. On Monday we're meetings DH's co-workers for lunch at this really nice Mediterranean restaurant.
We had a great day today except that I overate again I had lunch at this really nice Vietnamese restaurant and their bbq beef, egg rolls and chicken was heavenly, plus it came with rice wraps, noodles, bean sprouts, cucumbers, shredded carrots, lettuce and the sauce. You had to wrap these in the rice paper. It was heavenly but too much food. Then we went to Christopher's favorite cookie shop.
We also stumbled upon Dora and Diego concert in the mall and got front row seats for free! And then Christopher got a photo with Dora. He was never a big fan of Dora but now he loves her Then we met with DH and went out for dinner. I didn't eat though, I was still full from lunch OINK
It was a nice day Now I have to go and work on some homework
hi everyone! we normally do yogurt and fruit in the mornings. mason also puts cereal in his. on the weekends, efe makes pancakes for mason. i don't like them much though, so i don't eat them. i keep saying i'm going to make some from scratch (efe makes them from a box) but then i never do. hmmmm... i really do need to do that.
i'm off of work for labor day today and monday! yippee!!! :)
my normal breakfast is coffee. during the school year, i'm off 2nd period (8:30am) so i usually have yogurt and fruit then.
on the weekend, i might eat some eggs with the kids. when we go down to the boat for the weekend, we get up on sunday morning and go to our favorite breakfast place called dockside. we sit outside by the canal an eat the BEST.PANCAKES.EVER and omelets. :oink:
my typical breakfast is a bowl of honey nut cheerios with a small amount of milk to drink. i am finishing this up as i type.
my kids also are cereal eaters. well not keegan.
on the weekends if we do anything different it is pancakes, waffles or toast usually.
as far as the holiday weekend. sunday we are going over to friend's house to hang out visit and have dinner. monday i think we are having some sort of family get together with john's side. the rest of the time we are just chilling out.
moved yesterday. went perfectly. still so much to do but I am so thrilled with the apartment.
charlie is having major anxiety and had to sleep on an air mattress in our room. jo slept in playpen in our room so it was a lonnnnnnng night and then they got up at 5:45. shoot me.
i'll have pictures soon. my laptop cord died on wednesday so I had no access yesterday.
i hope all is well. i'll be back in a bit after coffee break. (priorities, i know)
Usually breakfast is coffee for me and then for a snack later I try to eat something with protein. Sometimes my snack ends up being lunch.
My favorite breakfast is going to eat somewhere. I actually prefer breakfast food later in the day and so we have it for dinner sometimes.
This weekend we are going to visit dh's mother and his siblings in Cincinnati. I hope I can get some shopping in too. Elizabeth needs a rain coat and rain boots because of school. I have looked for them here with no luck. If I don't find them this weekend I guess I will order some from land's end. Yep, I'm not terribly exciting.
Irina I hope your last weekend with your dh is great.
April your breakfast choice sounds fantastic to me! I love marinas for some reason.
Laura I hope you all enjoy the birthday celebrations.
Sara what are you doing this weekend?
Sonya I can't wait to see pictures of your apartment! I am glad you are all moved.
sonya - congrats on the move! can't wait to see pics. the sleeping situation should work itself out soon - my 3 kids were out of wack a few days when we moved 2 years ago.
breakfast... usually a protein and fruit smoothie with rice or almond milk. or, if i am looking for something to chew on a slice of wheat and ham or chicken to make a small sandwich.
My ususual breakfast is a bowl of cereal. Boring, i know.
On the weekends sometimes I'll make pancakes and turkey bacon, or scrambled eggs and toast. I'm not a big breakfast person, but M2 seems to enjoy the food, so we'll make breakfast together. The time together is fun!

We stop and get M2 a smoothie for breakfast 2 times a week. They built a smoothie place right next to his school. He loves smoothies!!
Nothing. I eat nothing. Sometimes yogurt if there is enough time. I don't eat until Grant gets home. And by that point I feel like I'm about to pass out. But between Colin and Adelaide, all I can do is guzzle down water. If I'm lucky, I can scarf down something quick for lunch.
But that's about it. Bad, I know. I think one day this week I got very lucky and had Adelaide back down to sleep and was able to make eggs and sausage for breakfast.
And since we had breakfast for dinner one night this week and had left over batter, I made waffles for Colin and Grant yesterday morning when he got home from work. :) But there was only enough batter for them and I didn't feel like making batter for just one more waffle.
On those rare, rare days that I have a long nap, I can squeeze in fruit!
