I like the "new year" feel of September. I like thinking about changing my routine and making life better.
This year, I like the idea of getting started with our new life as city dwellers. (I'll like it more when the insane amount of stress lessens).
I normally like the cool air but this summer was so awful - cold rainy July followed by a beautiful August. I feel like I'm still owed a really hot month. Too bad Mother Nature doesn't agree with me.
Read, listened to the radio, tried to get back to sleep.
I gave up at 4:45. I went downstairs and watched So you think you can dance (Canada) - seriously awesome this year, I wish I could talk about it with people here.

Dozed from 5:45 to 6:30.
Awesome. I should be ready to go for a busy day.
AHHHHHH
Good Morning Sonya
Wow! that doesn't sound like a restful night for sho, take it easy today!
Oh, I am so happy! The apartment is better than I remembered. I didn't bring my camera but I'll post pictures tomorrow.
The kitchen is worse than I have now (boo!) but overall, it's pretty great. I think you'll like it. :)
And I think with your remodeling skills, you will soon transform your kitchen
Yes, I'll be putting those skills to work. The good thing about it being a co-op not a rental apartment is that I can do what I like with the place (as long as I am making it better).
I was so thrilled with how clean the apartment was. I wasn't sure what to expect but it was perfect.
i think my favorite part of september is the weather. it's usually still warm here but not insanely hot (though this summer has been so cool it feels like we haven't really had summer). i also love the whole "back to school" feeling.
oh, and the colors. but that usually doesn't happen until later.

We're still in Manila, we'll go back to the States in 5 days :sigh:
Wow. That's too bad. You've really been enjoying Manila, right? What are your plans for the fall? Will you be back to visit again or is your DH coming to you guys?

That's great Sonya, I sure wish I could do all that stuff...
