A friend of mine owns a bar in Spain, and calls it "The Sportsman"
He's football (soccer) MAD and has the walls decorated with various football shirts from years gone by. This bar is THE place to be on the Costa del Sol when there is any kind of football match on.
He's been offered the lease for a bar across the way, and intends on opening it as a women oriented bar, showing UK soap operas etc, while the matches are on next door. I've had a text from him this morning asking for ideas on names for the bar, or how to decorate it - it used to be an Ice Cream Parlour - so I'm thinking a Diner type thing a la home & Away.
If any of you fancy having a wee think could you let me know if you come up with any ideas for a good name for this place.
