Saying that and crying all the way home from open house at school because she wanted to ride the bus home. They were offering bus rides so kids could have their first ride with a parent and for anyone who wanted a ride. We did that and then left and she was crying.
I want to drive her to school since I'm already driving 2 high schoolers(DS and niece) and then she can ride the bus home. At least my teenager will let me drive him to school(insert rolling eye if I could find it). I hated riding the bus so I can't force him to ride it(most think I should).
Hannah will probably be the same way. She's already begging to ride the bus, but since we're open enrolling (or that is the plan atm, anyways) to another district, she won't have the opportunity (and tbh, I'm thrilled because I was a trouble maker on the bus, and got in a LOT of trouble, and I do not need that back 10-fold with her.)
