if you could spare some good something or other to send this way, I'd definately appreciate it.
right now financially, we are so in a bad place. construction has practically dried up so don is without work for idk how long...he's been out all morning trying to hustle up some work...so far nothing...he had mentioned a couple weeks ago things were slowing down but I didn't get the impression it was this bad...and last week---ihadni how little he actually made....plus the week before he had to take a few days to go to washington to help beth get back home while kenny is in afghanistan, so while i'm really glad he was able to go and would have insisted he go if he said we coulddnt have afforded it, it did drain what we had saved---which wasnt much to start with.
i went and applied for a cna job at a nursing home (which is NOT what i want to do, but it's a job)...and because i'm in school and as of the 24th i will be in full time, I had to ask for nights and weekends...if i get this job, ihni how i will manage (a full night shift, then school---and come mid september i have to be at the hospital and ready to scrub in to surgery by 645am), but i guess women the world over do it....there are plenty of single moms who work and go to school full time, there should be no reason why i can't when i have a husband. anyway, the administrator said nights and weekends was where they needed someone, so we'll see.
