Good for you Robin!! I am so glad Henry is excited. Fourth grade was a fun year for Kelly. They spent quite a bit of time learning about the Oregon Trail, California Missions, and the states.

BTW- having a fourth grader does not mean you are old. It simply reminds everyone just how young you were when you started your family. :wink

Robin fourth grade is a really fun year. They are old enough to really start doing some cool things. i am so glad Henry is excited. I hope he has a great year!

We are very excited! We met Ryan's teacher today, she was very nice. I can't believe he's a first grader. He thinks he's big stuff now lol!

I know.. I'm such a sap.. I still can't believe it.

And I can't believe 4th grade for Henry! I can remember TONS of stuff about 4th grade. I think that's when I start kind start really freaking out about how old he's getting.. thinking that Ryan is getting to an age where he will remember things, kwim? Does that make sense? He's getting so big.

Time sure does fly, doesn't it?

Emma will also be in 1st grade this year. Such a huge jump. Kindergarden was from 8:40-12:15. She will be going to school from 7:40 - 3:30. I sure would not want to teach first grade these first few weeks while the kids get used to their schedules.

Yep, 4th grade is a cool year! Savanna will be a 4th grader this year as well! She's getting kind of excited to go back to school, too! Hope she keeps that excitement!

Bryce goes back on Tuesday!!

He is beyond excited and everyday tells you how many more days until he goes back to school.

K was half day here and he went 12 pm to 2:45 pm.

So this year will be a huge change going 8:10 am to 2:45 pm.

I am not sure what I will do with out my helper and entertainer in the house.

Oh wow! That is a big change.

Ryan was full day K, from 8:40-2:40. His school actually released the K-3 at 2:40 and the rest at 3:40. Well, they decided to release them all at 3:40, so it's another hour of school for him. I know he will adjust well, but man, that seems like such a long day!

I didn't know Emma and Ryan were the same age! :) Very cool!

I'm so happy!!!

And while I know I'll miss them I REALLY need a break. They are just fighting all over the place. Manuel will be going to 7th grade (huge change for both of us), Diego is going to 4th grade (which I also think he'll love) and Marcos is going to PK!!!

There are going to be lots of pics on Monday!!!

We don't start until Sept 8th!!! When do you guys get out of school?!

4th grade for Henry!! I LOVED 4th grade.

I'm still trying to get over that Braydon will be a firstie. 8:30-3:30!!!!! The days may be slow, but the years fly by.

We end school May 21st.

so jealous you guys are starting school already! our summer break only started a few weeks ago and i am already pulling my hair out! we start back sept 15th.

robin - ita - 4th grade will be really fun, cecile just finished - henry will love it!

I wonder if after Labor Day start is an east coast thing? We are Aug 12-May 20 something. I would prefer Sept. to June myself.

Keely starts middle school this year...6th grade. 1998 seems like yesterday! She grew some loooooong legs this summer...and has her first boy friend. In fact, his mom came to pick her up this morning so they could do the whole 6th grade orientation and then took Keely back to their house for the afternoon *sigh*

School starts here on Aug 24...and I am so ready to get these kids back to having something to do other than fill up my house. They're so bored, but its just too hot to force them outside.
