sonya, i feel ya on the fighting. they make me crazy with that and the tattling!!

we're heading down to the boat this afternoon and spending the night at least tonight. we'll see about tomorrow night.

i need to pack a bag of toys for them - crayons, play doh, etc - b/c they haven't been napping on the boat and that drives me crazy.

i forgot to take the bag of wet towels and bathing suits out of my van on wednesday. gross. i just threw everything in the wash. blech

i'm so jealous (in a happy for you way) of your boat.

I love the idea of having a fun place to go for the weekend.

i'm exhausted today.

mike went into work for a bit. it was a huge deal for him to take the rest of the week off so i'm trying to be zen with him going in today. i think the week off was good for him but i know he's stressing about not being at work.

:wave  Good morning!

We have no big plans for the weekend.  I'm hoping to get some things down around the house b/c I've really let it go.

I do want to find something fun to do.  I don't think Mike realizes that I'm home all week. I really don't want to stay here the whole time on weekends.  I do see it from his side too though... he wants to be able to enjoy the house he works so hard to pay for.

:hugs  I don't miss the 2s.  Meghan has started whining again lately and it brings me right back.  I'm not as nice about now as I was when she was 2 though giggle.gif.

Is she taking a nap or just laying down?

Me too!  Everytime you post new pictures, I think I actually turn green.  I love boats and love the idea of something exciting to do.  We've become pretty dull around here. Boo.

Good Morning!

We are not doing anything exciting this weekend.  At the moment just staying home seems good to me.  Since we came back it has been a bit crazy and I am hoping to get things back on track.

I need to figure out how to get my siggy on here. :frustrated

I got a little boost at work yesterday.

We are doing very informal SAS training and the guy who is helping us gave us some homework.  More than anything, it was to generate questions for the next training session.

I breezed through most of it and just got a little stuck at the end.  I was pretty surprised and impressed with myself!

At our session yesterday, it turns out that the other 3 people either couldn't do it at all or didn't get very far.  He pulled up all of those and discussed where they went wrong.  Mine was 99% correct biggrin, but since it was, he didn't really pay any attention to it.  Basically, I figured my boss probably sneezed and missed the fact that I did a good job.

At the end, my boss said something about needing more sessions before bringing in the expert trainers and that no one really got the homework exercise.  The guy who was training us spoke up and said, "no, that's not true.  Diane came really really close.  Just one little thing I had to change".  My boss was all "Wow.  Really?  That's great!".   A thing to add was the trainer guy is BFF with my boss and is a d*ck so he had to have been impressed to say anything at all.

This may not sound like a big deal but my job is about to become obsolete (sp?) because we are changing to a whole new system.  Showing my boss now that I can quickly pick up new software is sooooooooo important b/c hopefully when they are building the new team, he'll consider me since I've been able to show that I can catch on quickly.  I really really really need to keep my job, and getting preggers now right during the transition is not the ideal situation!

So go me!!

Wow.  I need to learn how to write shorter post.  Seriously.
